Hardy wrote in his diary on his MySpace page that he underwent acupuncture where 10 or 12 needles were stuck in his lower abdomen, groin, and inner thigh. Hardy said that it relieved 75% of the pain in his groin.

INSIGHT: TMZ had released a video of Roddy Piper smoking out of a bong and later smoking a marijuana cigarette. Piper had responded to the released video by issuing the following statement to TMZ.com: “I am not an advocate of using drugs, however due to the lack of appropriate medicine, this alternative treatment was recommended to alleviate the symptoms associated with cancer.” TMZ later goes on to bash Piper's excuse, citing it as improper to smoke out of a bong handed to him by a civilian he didn't know rather than a doctor. Piper was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2006.

INSIGHT: Dustin Runnels is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment as he has signed his contract. Runnels recently faxed his signed contract to officials. He has not been given a start date, but is expected to end up on the Raw brand. Head Raw writer Brian Gewirtz is pushing for him the most as he's always been a fan of the Goldust character. INSIGHT: Raw wrestler Chuck Palumbo's WWE contract is set to expire soon. Considering that Palumbo hasn't been talked about in months and is never used, the feeling is that it won't be renewed by WWE. Palumbo is already looking at life after WWE as he's got former Natural Born Thrillers members Jon Hugger (a.k.a. Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli) working on getting him in AAA, as well as Mark Jindrak (Marco Corleone) getting him in CMLL. Hugger is currently in AAA under his "Rellik" gimmick. (Wrestling Observer)

Jericho, Chris - Wrestler - 2008-10-30 10:50:42 Update on Chris Jericho and His Character
INSIGHT: You may have noticed that Chris Jericho's character has changed a bit lately. When the RAW ratings continued to tank, Vince McMahon blamed that partly on Chris Jericho. Vince felt that Jericho was playing the character the wrong way, being hard with the fans and blaming them for everything.
Vince felt like the fans wanted a whiny heel character that always complained about losing and everything else. We can't confirm this, but this likely played a factor in the decision to take the World Heavyweight Championship off Jericho and give it to Batista at the Cyber Sunday pay-per-view. At one point, plans had Jericho holding the World Title through December. (ProWrestling.com)
INSIGHT: There is concern within WWE that Evan Bourne could be out up to four months with the ankle injury that he suffered Tuesday night on ECW. Bourne is scheduled to undergo further medical evaluation and an MRI this week to determine the extent of his injury. (ProWrestling.com)
